Carey Mulligan Covers US Vogue's May 2013 Issue As Daisy Buchanan

Great Gatsby fever has struck again! Following in the flapper footsteps of Vogue Australia's Gatsby themed issue, Carey Mulligan covers US Vogue's May 2013 issue in character as Daisy Buchanan. On the magnificent cover shot by Mario Testino, Carey models a striking acid green gown from Oscar de la Renta's, John Galliano assisted Autumn/Winter 2013 collection. In the accompanying editorial, Carey embodies her character Daisy in 1920s inspired looks from Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Dior, Miu Miu, Nina Ricci and Oscar de la Renta. This marks Carey's third collaboration with Grace Coddington who in the past has made it clear she dislikes styling celebrities. This obviously excludes Carey.

This cover and editorial proves why US Vogue is the choice magazine for fashion followers like myself. Mario and Grace have created truly outstanding and inspirational images with an authentic feel. Each illuminating and original image emanate creativity, reminding me why I am so passionate about fashion. It doesn't get much better than this! Here are some of my favourites:
